Work-based Learning (WBL) allows students to learn about the environment they will be working in by completing typical tasks within that industry. At Southern Cross Catholic College the most common approaches to WBL are through:
- Apprenticeships and Traineeships which allow students to earn an income while completing their qualification or vocational career options.
- Work placement is a mandatory HSC requirement within the Curriculum Framework where minimum hours have been assigned to HSC VET courses within the Framework.
